Aqualinc (HydroServices) is providing the MicroFarm with soil moisture monitoring and irrigation recommendations. HydroServices provide regular status reports so we can monitor moisture levels and determine irrigation needs.

Our weather station also monitors soil moisture. This is sited near the MicroFarm cropping paddocks, in an area with permanent grass cover.  Soil Moisture data is from an Aquaflex sensor at the weather station. It is buried 10 – 30 cm deep – the topsoil profile on-site.
